Kristen Bascelli began studying dance at the age of four in her hometown of Queens, New York. She continued her training at Encore Dance Center and eventually earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from De Sales University.

Her performance credits at De Sales include numerous faculty and student showcases, works by noted guest choreographers like Charles Moulton and David Parsons, and several regional festivals of the American College Dance Festival Association. Some highlights of her college dance training include presiding over De Sales chapter of the National Dance Honor Society, co-coordinating the school’s first Dance Team, participating in a pre-professional touring company and receiving the highest departmental award for dance performance at graduation.

Kristen finds great joy in teaching at Encore. It is an honor to share both her knowledge and passion for dance with young students in such a nurturing environment.
