Sue Cammauf, aka "Miss Sue," began her dance career at 3 years of age. She came to Encore Dance Center at the age of 15 and began assisting classes on Saturday mornings. After graduation from Cocalico High School, Sue attended West Chester University where she was President of the University’s Dance Production Workshop her senior year. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1995 and returned to Encore, where she began teaching modern dance, a new venue for the studio.
Sue was the choreographer for Cocalico’s musicals until 2000 where she passed the torch to Greta Smith. She attended workshops with American Dance Heritage and New York City Dance Alliance. Sue had the opportunity to perform, with the studio, on Royal Caribbean’s Nordic Empress in 2000.
Sue will graduate from Temple University with a Master’s in Social Work in 2003. Her future goals include becoming a therapist, specializing in treating people with mental retardation and to continue teaching.
