It's hard to come up with the words to describe how amazing Encore Dance Center really is. I consider myself so lucky to have grown up in such a loving studio. All the teachers have such big hearts and truly care about each and every one of their students. Not to mention their dance technique and teaching abilities are incredible. We've had so many opportunities to dance on different stages and even with different dance instructors. I'm about to go off to college to pursue a dance minor, and I feel more than prepared to enter into the college dancing world. (Although if I could, I would dance at Encore forever!) I would not be the person (or dancer) I am today without the wonderful teachers of Encore.

It is almost impossible to attempt to put into words my experience at Encore Dance Center. The instructors at Encore provided me not only with improved dance technique during my 14 years of classes, but their compassionate and loving personalities have helped shape me into the person that I am today. Since the first day that I walked into the studio, the teachers and students that I have met at Encore have been a profound inspiration in my life, and I have tried to emulate the never-ending devotion of my teachers in whatever I do in my own life.

Now in college, I am constantly reminded of the lessons that I have learned at Encore as I try to further develop into the person that I want to be. Thanks to the training I received from this studio, I learned that dance is an expression of emotion that I can bring with me wherever I go. From the organization of trips to dance at Walt disney World and on Royal Caribbean Cruises, Encore showed me that anything is possible with hard work and dedication. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to spend so many years at Encore, where the gift of dance is given to each and every one of their students.

Encore has truly been a wonderful experience for my daughter and family.

Katie has been taking dance lessons since she was 3 She will graduate this year. She has been a part of the Encore family for 16 years. Encore has been a wonderful place away from home. The friendships she has been able to establish will last a lifetime. Our family vacationed with the encore group to Disney and a Cruise. The experiences were both heartwarming and truly enjoyable. Alvina has been such a wonderful mentor, friend, and role model for Katie. We all have have a special place in our hearts for Alvina and the Encore family.

We are having and enjoying our own ENCORE experience, with having our eldest daughter Tabitha now 23 having enjoyed a wonderful dance experience through her growing up dance days at encore dance studio and now with our daughter Kennedy 10, looking forward to starting her 4th year with the awesome AWESOME dedicated talented and so caring and did I say AWESOME group of instructors that can only be found at Encore....and I know that for a fact because of the traveling and just having a new born baby when Kennedy was 5, I was trying to save on distance traveling and trying to stay closer to home I enrolled Kennedy in three different dance studios and NOTHING and I mean NOTHING compares.....one was all about the recital and their costly costumes, another was just learning the same old same old and Kennedy not advancing with any dance techniques and the third was just so poorly ran with book keeping and horrendous instructors that I could of taught my daughter to dance! The truth is you get what you pay for...and I strongly feel the quality of instructors that Miss Alvina employs is worth every dime...book keeping is top notch with friendly reminders that go out in the mail, they always work with you when a class doesn't fit your schedule and the mere fact that all of the personal has been at the studio from day one and the most of the instructors were former students says a whole heck of a lot!!!! Just like family!!!!!!!!!! I feel my daughter Kennedy wasted two years of dance experience. She had to play catch up and now because of Encore she is right on track and where she belongs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank YOU!!!

My sister, Catherine, had started dancing at Encore Dance Studio before I was born, and at the ripe old age of 3, I made the executive decision that I would dance at Encore as well. In my 18 years of dancing at Encore, I developed not just the technical aspects of dance found in Marjorie's ballet classes, or the stylistic flare found in one of Alvina's jazz classes, but a whole family of beautiful people who I still call my "second mothers" and my "sisters". Encore is not just about dance, though that is what brings us all together. It is about nurturing every persons unique talents and abilities and helping them to reach their full potential. Encore helped me to grow not only as a dancer and a performer, but as a person. I was never into competition dance, as I feel that it takes the heart out of it... but I still needed the training necessary to be competitive in my chosen career of Musical Theatre. At Encore, there was no competing, but I still obtained all of the training I could ever need, and want, to enable me to be successful in my career. I also had amazing performance opportunities through Encore, like performing in Disney World and with Royal Caribbean Cruise lines! At Encore, we don't compete with each other, we support each other. The memories I've made with my Encore family are some of my most cherished memories ever, and I really won't ever be able to thank them enough for all the gifts they've given me.
